MISSION:

To break down misconceptions around and discrimination towards minorities and work towards a sustainable and environmentally friendly future with the use of digitalisation through local and global community work.

ACTIVITIES:

YDA has local and international activities all with a focus on non-formal learning, democracy, civic participation, European citizenship, and social entrepreneurship. Locally we have held workshops, events, protests, and other projects cooperating with local youth organisations and public bodies such as the municipality, the university, and the local peace and human rights centre. On an international level we have participated and facilitated Erasmus+ youth mobilities.

Erasmus+Ungdom

Erasmus+ is the European Union’s program for education, training, youth, and sports.

The program has a budget of 26.5 billion euros for the period 2021-2027, representing a 90 percent increase compared to the previous period. Approximately 10 percent of this budget is allocated to the youth component of the program.

Erasmus+ Ungdom is The Norwegian National Agency responsible for administering Erasmus+ Youth, the youth component of Erasmus+, in Norway is the Directorate for Children, Youth, and Family Affairs (Bufdir).

They support projects involving youth aged 13-30 and those working with youth. In 2023, we have approximately 62 million Norwegian kroner available for youth projects in Norway. Ten percent of these funds are allocated to accredited organisations.
